MEAN WELL has introduced two new high performance
DC/AC true sine wave inverters~ TN/TS-3000 (3000W)
series. Along with existing products TS-200(200W),
TS-400(400W), TS-700(700W), TS-1000(1000W) and
TS/TN-1500(1500W) series,
MEAN WELL can provide a complete true sine
wave inverter family from 200W to 3000W for various
users’ demands. Designed by high frequency topology,
TN/TS-3000 series are light weights and posseses up
to 92% of high efficiency. They can provide 3000W
continuously for all kinds of harsh load with low
THD<3%. Peak load capability including 3450W for 3
minutes, 4500W for 10 seconds, or 6000W surge power
for 30 utility cycles.
TS-3000 is a typical
power inverter that switches DC input to AC output.
TN-3000, not only a powerful inverter as TS-3000,
but is also built-in AC charger and solar charger.
It can charge the external battery banks by AC
utility or solar panels and then transform to AC
output via its inverter stage. It can construct an
energy-saving stand-alone power station by only
adding external lead-acid batteries and solar
panels. Equipped with two operation modes (UPS and
Energy Saving Mode), TN-3000 provides the
flexibility for end users to select a suitable
operating status based on the weather condition as
well as special application requirements. Under “UPS
Mode”, AC utility input can charge the batteries and
bypass to the output device, just like the typical
operation of UPS system ~ the batteries can supply
power to the Inverter when the mains is off. While
under “Energy Saving Mode” along with solar panels
assembled, “free energy” from the sun can be stored
into the battery bank by electricity form, which can
conserve the energy consumption as well as the
utility bill, and hence fulfill the energy-saving
trend of the world.
TN/TS-3000 are digital
controlled by microprocessor and their AC output
voltage, frequency, standby saving mode, and
UPS/Energy Saving mode (for TN-3000 only) can be
adjusted easily through the front panel or optional
monitoring software. Besides, these two power
inverters are equipped with complete protections,
include BAT over voltage protection, BAT low alarm,
BAT low shutdown, internal fuse, BAT reverse
polarity, and DC circuit breaker for input side and
short circuit, inverter overload, over temperature
protections, AC circuit breaker, and GFCI (optional
- F type model) for output side. The design of TS/
TN-3000 series comply with global safety and EMC
certificates and are suitable for powering all kinds
of home appliances, power tools, and office &
portable equipment in vehicles, yachts, mobile homes
or places that the utility can’t be reached or the
power quality is poor.
