Sunmodule Plus - The plus on benefit and reliability
With Sunmodule Plus, SolarWorld AG offers an innovative module concept. Plus Sorting (according to SolarWorld Flash report) guarantees the highest efficiency of the installation without costly sorting of the modules on site. The fully automated manufacturing process in SolarWorld factories makes for consistently high-quality mono- and polycrystalline modules and therefore for high returns in the
long-term.
Module frames and the glazing are bonded together with continuously applied silicon. Thus an outstanding degree of module stability is guaranteed, which will prevent the
delaminating of the frame, due to melting snow, for example.
The patented, flat and compact connecting socket protects it from corrosion and provides optimal consistency of temperature by removing heat. All connectors are welded and guarantee a reliable electrical connection inside the socket.
In addition, high-quality, hard-wearing connecting cables are used with pre-fabricated plugs and sockets.
A 25-year factory warranty of performance and the capability of recycling the modules round out the quality concept.

T he Sunmodule® series from SolarWorld presents a photovoltaic module series ideally suitable for both off-grid and small on-grid applications. Highest quality standards are applied in the entire manufacturing process. SolarWorld's in-depth expertise ensures best performance and highest energy yields over the entire lifespan, even under challenging climatic conditions.
The Sunmodule® is particularly used in industrial applications such as powering offgrid telecom or monitoring systems. It also covers a wide range of rural electrification applications in remote areas, e.g. solar home systems, village power supply, street lighting and many more. The compact dimensions of the Sunmodule® and the solid workmanship of its aluminum frame allow easy and flexible mounting. The design of the water repellent junction box makes wiring
easy and secure. The junction box is equipped with two cable glands and two easy to wire spring-type clamps, so no special tools are needed. This simplifies installation and speeds up the installation process.

More performance guaranteed: With the new linear performance warranty*, SolarWorld is the first company in the world to chart a new course. SolarWorld AG, instead of offering warranties that end after 10 or 20 years like other manufacturers do, has set its sights on continuity for solar power modules purchased after 1/1/2010. A minimum value is set for the output of the SolarWorld modules every year for a 25-year period. In addition, SolarWorld grants a 5-year extended product warranty for module functionality.

New standards for the market: The warranties of other manufacturers guarantee customers, for example, 90% of the lower rated power for the first 10 years and 80% starting in the 11th year. For SolarWorld modules, the actual output in the first year is at least 97% of the rated power and, starting in the second year, it does not fall below more than 0.7% annually. The basis for the performance warranty is the service certificate valid upon purchase.
